- Brandon Sawler Added 2017-07-30★ ★ ★ ★ ★This is a great place to bring the dogs and let them run around. When the tide is out the red sand leaves for a beautifully soft floor to walk on. Usually bursting with wild life if the birds haven't eaten everything yet. You can easily walk out a good kilometer of the tide is out fully. It is always a great time to go visit this wonderful beach. Do be mindful of fisherman and clam diggers as they are there for a reason too. But overall it's a must see if you're passing through. Took my entire family there 2 summers ago when I had family visiting from the US. it was great!
